Krzysztof B. Hello, I’m Krzysztof. At Tuteer, I specialize in teaching Polish, particularly in the IB program. My professional experience in the field dates back to 2016, and for the past four years, I’ve been a PhD candidate in literary studies. In my classes, I strive to convey knowledge in an unconventional way, aiming to present the historical context of individual works. My research focuses on contemporary literature, and in my doctoral thesis, I portray Czesław Miłosz as a literary character depicted in the works of various other authors.
My approach has proven effective over the years, as my students consistently achieve top scores in Internal Assessment (Individual Oral) assignments and final exams. I was also nominated for the Best High School Teacher Award in the Silesian province in the 2024 Educational Plebiscite. Throughout my classes, I place particular emphasis on sparking students’ creativity and helping them bring their own ideas to life, which is crucial in this field.
Personally, I’m interested in music and history, with a special focus on the Middle Ages and the 20th century. My favourite author is Witold Gombrowicz, whose works I often select for my IB students, including those in the SSST teaching format.
