Harrison M Hi! My name is Harrison. At Tuteer, I teach English at all levels, specialising in international programs like IB, A-levels and SATs (humanistics part) and certificates such as TOEFL and IELTS, helping students pursue their dream universities and international careers.
I began tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in London, as well as teaching business English to corporate clients. Over the years, as I transitioned to full-time online tutoring, I’ve developed strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling me to work effectively with students of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to preparing students for top results in English proficiency exams, I regularly support International Baccalaureate (IB) scholars with English A and B – whether for exams, Extended Essays, or Oral Assessment preparation. My lessons follow a clear, methodical approach, emphasizing a deep, “mechanical” understanding of grammar to build precision and clarity in both writing and speaking.
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about ancient languages, with some knowledge of Greek and the ability to read Latin and Old English. I also enjoy tabletop role-playing games (like D&D), where I serve as a Dungeon Master – a perfect opportunity for both creativity and social engagement. While I also love experimenting with different cuisines, I famously avoid coriander, which I think tastes like soap!
