Olaf I.

Hi! I’m Olaf, and at Tuteer I specialize in teaching math and physics for the IB program. Building a strong mathematical foundation and discipline allowed me to excel at school and stand out in academic competitions, which led to my admission to TU Delft, where I’m currently studying Computer Science & Engineering.

Mathematics is called the “queen of sciences” for a reason. The broad range of topics offered by the IB program—especially calculus—provides solid preparation for university studies and gives you an edge over other curricula. At the same time, it presents challenges that can be difficult to meet in high school. That’s why in my classes, I often work with complex examples, demonstrating various ways to apply the formulas. Students tend to treat them too mechanically, simply “copying and substituting,” which I aim to change by fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

I have been passionate about physics for many years, to the extent that I even considered it as a field of study. It is inseparable from engineering disciplines, so I continue to develop my skills in this area as well. On a daily basis, I share my knowledge and experience with students in my classes, to which I warmly invite you!
