Hi, I’m Ewa. At Tuteer, I provide comprehensive support to IB students who have decided to begin their journey with Psychology. I am currently studying Clinical, Social and Intercultural Psychology at the University of Padua in Italy. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, and also spent part of my studies at McGill University in Canada.
In my lessons, you can expect an unconventional approach to learning. Rather than simply covering individual topics, I also show students how to learn in an effective and enjoyable way using evidence-based learning strategies. I am happy to provide support at every stage of working on Internal Assessments and the Extended Essay, as well as help students understand how to structure strong exam answers.
Outside of my ongoing studies in psychology, I spend a lot of time learning foreign languages and exploring literature. I also have the pleasure of being involved in social initiatives related to mental health and marginalisation, as well as research projects exploring how culture influences the way mental health disorders are understood – topics I’ll be more than happy to tell you about during our lessons.
